Join Leica Product Specialist, John Kreidler as we explore capturing light with the Leica SL2-S. John will be leading you on a photowalk to experience one of Leica’s newest cameras the SL2-S. As we roam the streets of downtown Cleveland looking for where light meets shadow, you will discover the magic that a Leica camera can bring to your photography. John will give you a place to start with the camera and a short assignment during the walk. The walk is scheduled Friday, October 15th from 11am – Noon.

While having a Leica Camera is not a requirement for this event, we will have a limited supply of SL2-S + (NEW!) SL 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH camera kits available on a first come first serve basis. Please register now to secure one of these (5) available loaner camera kits! A SD card, photo ID and credit card are required to borrow a camera.

Sony tech rep, Barrett McGivney, is going to be leading a photowalk around the area to help increase photographic opportunities. He will be leading the group around the area, focusing on portraiture and utilizing the light and model(s) creatively to expand your portfolio. He will have limited amount of gear for attendees to “play with” so visit his booth early to reserve your dream equipment.

Come walk with Canon and learn how to use your digital camera’s internal B&W setting to convert your world into monochrome and use lights and contrast to make amazing photos.

Mid-October might be the best time for photography in northeast Ohio. And, there's nowhere no jam-packed with history & natural beauty than Lakeview Cemetery. Join Gabe Leidy for a tour of the 285-ace cemetery's "greatest hits," with a vibrant fall backdrop. Gabe will be offering technical advice as well as local intel in this crash course on landscape-optimizing photography & shot-planning techniques.

Heather will lead a fun urban kids photo walk through the downtown area near the convention center. You'll head out to practice, where you'll have an opportunity to test SIGMA loaner gear and watch Heather as she interacts with the kid models for the best portraits.

Join us for a street photography photowalk! We will explore the streets of Downtown Cleveland - shooting the cityscape as well as a ballerina. Learn the in's and out's of properly photographing a ballerina in the city as we stop at various locations throughout downtown Cleveland for this hands-on workshop.

We will cover the do's and dont's of ballet photography, proper camera settings, and more. Class attendees will have the opportunity to photograph a trained ballerina in various scenes and lighting conditions.
